Your Microneedling Session

Each microneedling session will last approximately 2 hours depending on the number of treatment areas. The treatment areas will be cleansed before topical anesthesia is applied. A pen-like tool containing the sterilized microneedles will then be used to create even microdamage in the skin tissues. Finally, a calming serum will be applied to the skin.

Aftercare

The patient can get back to normal activities with no recovery time or downtime needed. Aftercare instructions will be provided to aid in the healing process.

The patient may experience temporary swelling, redness, irritation, and discomfort after treatment. An ice pack can be used to deal with these minor symptoms.

Certain skincare products will not be allowed for the first few days. Sun exposure should be minimized, if not completely avoided, and it will be vital to wear proper sunscreen.
